I am including with this petition a photo of the beautiful Adelaide Rosella. This photograph was taken by one of our members whom it has visited for the past four years. It has not been seen this year.

It is difficult to find pictures of Adelaide’s own rosella so it is fortunate that we have this one. The Adelaide Rosella has one of the smallest ranges of Australian native parrots. The numbers are believed to be low and there is no research or evidence to support Minister Evans' courageous statement that they are in "plague proportions".


On the left is a photo of another bird that is also being destroyed in unlimited numbers, the beautiful Rainbow Lorikeet.

Please take your filled petitions to your local member and ask him/her to present it in parliament for you.
